The Specialty Foods Association, membership-based trade association founded in 1952 in New York City, has recently released the winners of its Specialty Outstanding Food Innovation (Sofi )Awards and has decided to give a silver award to our Free-Range Bone-in Chicken Broth and a bronze to our Fish Broth. The SFA sofi™ Awards have been honoring the best in specialty food for 47 years and Aneto beat out hundreds of competitors from around the world to be named best in the soup category.
The honorees —considered true innovators for their categories— have been selected by a panel of culinary experts, who blind-tasted the products and based their decision 70 percent on taste and 30 percent on ingredient quality. Joaquim Jimenez, General Manager of Aneto said that “since the day we first landed in the U.S., the biggest soup and broth market in the world, we took the opportunity as a challenge to learn and grow, but we never imagined we would win a prize from such a well-known institution. For Aneto this is motivation to keep working as we’ve always done: with humility, effort, and dedication to be a leading innovator in natural, clean label, cooked-from-scratch products.“
