Gather all the ingredients you’ll need for this recipe.
Peel the vegetables. Finely chop the onion and mince the garlic. Cut the turnips into thick chunks.
In a medium pot, sauté the garlic and the onion with 4 tablespoons of olive oil at medium heat until golden brown. Then add the paprika.
Quickly add the rest of vegetables and the potatoes. Stir to combine and cook for a few minutes at low heat, taking care not to scorch the paprika. Add the bay leaves and the vegetable broth. Raise heat to high and bring to a boil. Cook for 15 minutes.
Add the cabbage and beans, salt to taste and cover. Cook for 5 minutes more.
Off heat and let stand for 5 minutes. Serve and enjoy!
